Uni-Pay version 2.0 complete with secure on-line credit card functionality is now live. We have released this new version following a long period of customer feedback and subsequent development. The system is now live and ensures that Universities, Colleges and Language Schools can make significant savings on collecting fees from International Students – whether they pay by bank transfer or credit card.

But that’s not all – the new version also includes the following additional functionality as standard:

•    Ability to import student details into the system directly

•    Ability to import payments required against students – at either full balance or individual charge item level

•    Visibility of part payments received, full payments received, payments pending and payments outstanding

•    Messaging tool included – with group or individual functionality

•    Grid selection tool for reporting purposes – allows you to tailor the format of a report for export and upload into your systems

•    Payment by Visa/Mastercard available

•    Payment by AMEX agreed and to be introduced during February

•    Improved communication with the student at all stages of the process

This new release version also includes an enhanced service level option, which is available for a monthly fee and includes the following additional services:

•    Recurring payment functionality for credit cards – enabling your students to agree to the automatic debiting of a balance amount on the future due date, at the point of making their first payment

•    Virtual Terminal – allowing your staff to access the system and take payments by credit card from students or parents over the phone, or in person. This is particularly useful for taking payments for ad-hoc excursions or where a student arrives for a course not having paid their full balance.
